PSA Region IV-A Participates in Simultaneous PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan Across CALABARZON

CALABARZON, Philippines — The Philippine Statistics Authority Region IV-A (PSA IV-A) actively participated in the simultaneous conduct of the PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan across the provinces of Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna on May 1, 2026, bringing essential National ID services closer to communities in the CALABARZON region. The activity formed part of PhilHealth’s nationwide “Sabayang YAKAP” initiative, which aims to deliver accessible and integrated government services through strengthened inter-agency collaboration.

To support the initiative, PSA IV-A deployed registration teams to three caravan sites in the region. In Batangas, National ID services were provided at MD Link HealthCare Inc. in Robinsons Lipa; in Cavite, services were rendered at MWEL PH in Square Mall, Bacoor; and in Laguna, registration teams were stationed at Wellcare Clinics & Lab, Inc. in Waltermart Balibago, Santa Rosa City.

These service points enabled registrants and walk-in clients to conveniently access National ID-related assistance while availing themselves of PhilHealth’s healthcare and membership services.

During the activity, PSA personnel facilitated National ID registration, updating of demographic information, and issuance of electronic Philippine Identification (ePhilID).

The initiative accommodated unregistered individuals seeking enrollment in the National ID system, assisted registered individuals requiring demographic updates, and provided successful registrants with their ePhilID, which serves as a valid proof of identity for public and private transactions.

The participation of PSA IV-A underscores the agency’s continued commitment to expanding the reach of the National ID system and making identity-based government services more accessible to all Filipinos. The successful simultaneous conduct of the YAKAP Caravan across CALABARZON also highlights the importance of inter-agency collaboration in delivering efficient, citizen-centered public services and bringing essential government programs closer to local communities.
