PGC Takes Healthcare to the Heart of GMA Community

Healthcare services came closer to home for residents of Barangay Poblacion 2, General Mariano Alvarez (GMA) as the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) conducted another leg of its continuing medical outreach program on August 26, 2026.

The community-based mission served 418 patients, with 341 receiving medical consultations, 50 underwent fasting blood sugar (FBS) testing, and 27 availed electrocardiogram (ECG) services.

Medical professionals from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH) and CarSiGMA District Hospital provided the services, bringing essential healthcare closer to residents and giving them an opportunity to have their health concerns assessed within their own community.

The activity was supported by 5th District Board Members Aidel Paul Belamide, Ivee Jane Reyes, and a municipal councilor, whose cooperation helped facilitate the successful health outreach.

The medical mission forms part of the PGC’s continuing efforts to promote health and wellness through accessible, community-based healthcare. — OPIO
