Si Federico, na Regional Level Rank No. 3 Most Wanted Person, ay naaresto dakong alas-8:30 ng gabi nitong Hunyo 9 sa naturang barangay.

Inihain sa kanya ng Warrant Section ng Rosario Municipal Police Station ang warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Regional Trial Court, Branch 16, Cavite City, noong Mayo 8, 2023 kaugnay ng kasong murder (RPC Art. 248) at walang inirekomendang piyansa.

Gumamit ng Alternative Recording Device ang kapulisan sa operasyon.

LRT LINE-1 SOUTH (CAVITE) EXTENSION (L1CE) PROJECT: RELOCATION & RESETTLEMENT

Bacoor City – Sixty informal settler families (ISFs) in Bacoor City, affected by both last year’s fire and the LRT Line-1 South (Cavite) Extension (L1CE) project, were successfully relocated to permanent housing on June 9th. This relocation was a collaborative effort between the Bacoor City Government, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla and Atty. Aimee Torrefrangca Neri of the Housing Urban Development & Resettlement Department (HUDRD), and the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA). Key partners included the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO), the General Trias LGU, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), along with barangay officials, the Bacoor Traffic Management Department (BTMD), and the Bacoor PNP.

The relocated families, also victims of last year’s fire, received new homes, free bus transportation, and truck services for their belongings. This comprehensive relocation initiative reflects Mayor Strike’s commitment to providing adequate and permanent housing solutions for affected residents.

Sunshine Ville residents in Cabuco receive free medical and dental care

In line with the commitment to promote accessible and quality healthcare at the grassroots level, a Medical and Dental Mission was successfully conducted in Sunshine Ville, Brgy. Cabuco, Trece Martires City on May 27, 2025, serving a total of 310 residents.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Cavite in collaboration with the local government of Trece Martires City and the Eagles Club Trece Martires City. It was ably led by the dedicated medical and dental team of the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital and the Office of the Provincial Governor.

Residents availed of various health services such as blood pressure monitoring, medical consultations, dental check-ups and extractions, as well as the distribution of free medicines and mosquito repellent lotion as essential preventive care, especially during the rainy season.

The mission was personally supported by Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso and Brgy. Chairperson Abet Montehermoso, whose presence underscored the strong partnership between the city and provincial government in promoting public health.

Veteran Journalist Johnny Dayang Honored in 40th Day Memorial Mass Family, Friends, and Leaders Renew Call for Justice

Bonifacio Global City  — Veteran journalist and staunch advocate for truth, Johnny Dayang, was honored during a 40th-day memorial mass on Saturday at Serendra One Social Hall. Family, friends, colleagues, and public figures gathered to celebrate his life and contributions while renewing a call for justice after his tragic assassination.

Dayang’s distinguished journalism career included roles as Publisher of Philippine Graphic magazine, Former President and Chairman Emeritus of the Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PAPI), former President of the Manila Overseas Press Club, and Secretary of the Catholic Mass Media Awards. He also served as a UNESCO Commissioner and was recognized as a youth leader early in his career.

Beyond journalism, Dayang demonstrated public service as Governor of the Philippine Red Cross, a volunteerism advocate and friend of current Chairman and former Senator Richard Gordon. He also served as Officer-in-Charge Mayor of Kalibo, Aklan, and worked in public relations for the Ambassador Antonio L. Cabangon Group of Companies.

The memorial drew notable attendees including former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, a close family friend who was Ninang at Johnny and his late wife Ofelia Dayang’s wedding anniversaries and at their son Juan Jr.’s wedding.

Johnny and Ofelia’s children—Bernadette; Juan Jr., with wife Maria Francesca; and Geraldine, with husband Atty. Jose Roderick Fernando and their children—were joined by extended family and supporters.

The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Alex Colmeiro, who spoke about compassion and justice in the face of tragedy.

Following the service, guests shared a merienda cena and viewed a memorial table featuring Johnny’s book Echoes from the Woodwork, a collection of columns chronicling two decades of Philippine history.

 The Dayang family calls on authorities to intensify efforts to bring justice, as the hired gunman remains at large and the mastermind has yet to be identified.

Though his voice has been silenced, Johnny Dayang’s legacy endures as a symbol of truth, integrity, and service.

Gov’t ready to assist distressed Filipinos in LA – Palace

 Malacañang on Tuesday assured the public that the Philippine government is ready to assist distressed Filipinos in Los Angeles amid protests related to the US government’s immigration raids.

In a Palace press briefing, Presidential Communications Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the provision of immediate assistance is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure the safety and welfare of overseas Filipinos.

“Sa ngayon po ang administrasyong Marcos sa pamamagitan po ng DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) at ng Philippine Consulate sa LA, patuloy pong mino-monitor ang mga recent immigration enforcement and protest,” Castro said.

“Ang tagubilin po ng Pangulo, bigyan ng assistance ang bawat Pilipino lalong-lalo na po kung sila po ay nakabase o nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa,” she added.

In its website, the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles offers assistance to Filipino nationals who are victims of a crime, or are detained, arrested, or accused of a crime, as well as cases of missing or dead.

Due to ongoing riots in downtown Los Angeles, Filipinos were advised to remain cautious and vigilant.

Ang tatlong iba pa ay nakilala sa mga alyas Lea, ng Brgy. Zapote 4, Bacoor City; Jason, ng Brgy. Anabu 2F, Imus City; at Orland, ng Brgy. Anabu 2F, Imus City.

Si alyas Orland ay naaresto sa paglabag sa R.A. 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearm and Ammunition.)

Isinagawa ang buy bust operation ng magkasanib na puwersa ng PDEU Cavite PPO at Imus Component City Police Station sa Barangay Anabu 2E, Imus City, dakong alas-7:30 ng gabi nitong Hunyo 10.

Nabatid na ang pagsasagawa ng operasyon ay dokumentado gamit ang Alternative Recording Device.

Sa naturang operasyon ay narekober sa mga suspek ang apat na heat-sealed sachet at isang knot-tied plastic sachet na naglalaman ng puting kristal na hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na humigit-kumulang 65 gramo at tinatayang halaga na P442,000.00; isang unit ng Cal. 45 Armscor; isang magazine ng Cal. 45 at apat na bala ng Cal. 45.

Kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) at R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) ang kinaharap ng mga suspek.

NAGING matagumpay ang pagsasanib puwersa o ang joint police operation ng Magallanes, Cavite at Naga City na nagresulta sa pagkakadakip sa isang wanted kamakailan.

Si alyas Bobby ay nadakip dakong alas-10:32 ng gabi nitong Hunyo 8 sa Barangay Malagasang 1-G, Imus City, Cavite.

Nagsanib ang puwersa ng Warrant Section ng Magallanes Municipal Police Station at ang warrant PNCO ng Station 5, Naga City Police Station, Camarines Sur gamit ang Alternative Recording Device sa operasyon.

Nabatid na si Bobby ay kabilang sa Top 3 Most Wanted Persons – Provincial Level ng Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Siya ay may kinakaharap na kasong paglabag sa Republic Act 9165, Article II Section 7 (Employees and Visitors of a Den, Dive or Resort) sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. RTC 2021-0366 na may inirekomendang piyansa na P200,000.00.

TIMBOG ang isang babae sa buy bust operation na isinagawa ng mga awtoridad kamakailan sa Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

Ang suspek ay nakilalang si alyas Nog, residente ng Barangay Datu Esmael, Dasmariñas City at itinuturing na High-Value Individual.

Natimbog siya dakong alas-3:15 ng madaling araw nitong Hunyo 9 sa nasabing barangay sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Intel at City Drug Enforcement Team ng Dasmariñas Component City Police Station at positibong bumili ng droga sa poseur buyer.

Kasunod ay nakumpiska sa suspek ang siyam piraso ng heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na may kabuuang timbang na humigit-kumulang 64.13 gramo at tinatayang halagang P436,084.00.

Gumamit ang kapulisan ng Alternative Recording Device sa pag-aresto sa suspek na  naharap sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at 11 ng Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Rape suspect, huli sa warrant

HULI sa bisa ng warrant of arrest ang isang wanted na may kinakaharap na kasong rape kamakailan sa Tanza, Cavite.

Si alyas Joarmel, Most Wanted Person (Regional Level-No Rank) at residente ng Barangay Bagtas, Tanza, ay nahuli ng warrant personnel ng Tanza Municipal Police Station na gamit ang Alternative Recording Device sa operasyon.

Inihain sa kanya ang warrant of arrest na inisyu ng Family Court, Branch 5, Regional Trial Court, Trece Martires City, Cavite.

Nabatid na si alyas Joarmel ay nahaharap sa kasong rape, sa ilalim ng Criminal Case No. TMCR-669-25 na may petsang Hunyo 2, 2025, at walang inirekomendang piyansa.

Siya ay naaresto dakong alas-12:15 ng tanghali nitong Hunyo 11, sa nasabing barangay.

SA pag-arangkada ng Brigada Eskwela 2025 nitong Hunyo 9 ay aktibong nakiisa ang Police Regional Office CALABARZON.

“Ang Brigada Eskwela ay isang magandang pagkakataon upang maipadama ng ating kapulisan ang suporta sa mga mag-aaral, guro, at magulang. Bahagi ito ng ating adbokasiya para sa ligtas, maayos, at edukadong komunidad,” pahayag ni P/BGen Paul Kenneth T. Lucas, Regional Director ng PRO CALABARZON.

Nabatid na ang pakikibahaging ito ng PRO CALABARZON ay bunsod na rin ng community engagement efforts ng Philippine National Police para sa pagpapatibay at pagpapalaks ng ugnayan sa mamamayan partikular na sa sektor ng edukasyon.

Bahagi na rin umano ito ng pagtalima sa kautusan ni PNP chief, PGen Nicolas D. Torre III na dapat ang mga pulis ay hindi lamang nakikita sa halip ay nararamdaman ng bawat Pilipino.

Kasama ng kapulisan Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, at Philippine Coast Guard sa pagpapakalat ng ng seguridad sa rehiyon.

Ang Brigada Eskwela ay programa ng Department of Education na isinasagawa kada taon bilang paghahanda sa mismong araw ng pagbubukas ng klase.
