DOLE Trabaho Agad Job Fair Highlights Independence Day Celebration at SM City Dasmariñas
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cavite, the City Government of Dasmariñas, the Province of Cavite Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and various government and private sector partners, successfully conducted the Trabaho Agad Job Fair at SM City Dasmariñas in celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day.
The event brought together job seekers, employers, and government agencies to provide employment opportunities and essential public services in one accessible venue. Present during the opening program were City of Dasmariñas Mayor Jennifer Austria-Barzaga; City of Dasmariñas Vice Mayor Third Barzaga; Atty. Erwin Aquino, Regional Director of DOLE CALABARZON (Region IV-A); Gerald Dequina, DOLE Executive Assistant for External Affairs, representing DOLE Secretary Francis Tolentino; Cavite Provincial Board Member Nicole Austria, representing Governor Francis Gabriel “Abeng” Remulla; SM City Dasmariñas Mall Manager Editha Tayko; Provincial PESO Manager Rizalie Enero; City PESO Manager Jesuzaine B. Partoza; along with other DOLE dignitaries, City of Dasmariñas Sangguniang Panlungsod members, local government officials, partner agencies, and stakeholders who expressed their support for employment generation and community development initiatives.
The program featured the awarding of assistance under the Government Internship Program (GIP), DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP), and Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD), as well as the recognition of partner organizations for their invaluable support. The event culminated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening the Trabaho Agad Job Fair to job seekers and beneficiaries.
Through the collective efforts of its partners, DOLE continues to bring opportunities closer to communities, promoting employment, livelihood, and inclusive growth for Filipino workers.
