Accessible healthcare reaches Brgy. Kalubkob, Silang

Access to essential healthcare services was made more convenient for residents of Brgy. Kalubkob, Silang as the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) conducted a Medical and Dental Mission on July 8, benefiting a total of 389 individuals.

The outreach activity was held through the collaboration of the Office of the Provincial Governor (OPG) and the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO), in response to the request of 5th District Board Member Aidel Paul Belamide.

The initiative also received valuable support from the Punong Barangay, Barangay Health Workers (BHWs), and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), whose assistance contributed to the orderly delivery of healthcare services.

Medical consultations were provided by doctors from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH), while the dental team from CarSiGMA District Hospital rendered free dental services. Residents also availed themselves of fasting blood sugar (FBS) testing, electrocardiogram (ECG) screening, and free maintenance medicines.

The mission recorded 234 medical consultations, 38 dental services, 93 FBS tests, and 24 ECG screenings, serving a total of 389 beneficiaries.

Through sustained partnerships with local officials, healthcare institutions, and community volunteers, the provincial government continues to expand access to quality healthcare services, ensuring that more Caviteños receive timely and compassionate medical care within their own communities. — OPIO
