PSA CALABARZON holds 37th NSM Exhibit and Open House Day

PSA CALABARZON brings statistics to life through its 37th National Statistics Month (NSM) Exhibit and Open House Day held on 08 October 2026, providing the public with access to official statistics, statistical products, and information on PSA programs and services.

Held in celebration of the 37th NSM, the activity carried the theme “Tuklas Pilipinas: Statistics as Beacon Towards Inclusive, Resilient, and Sustainable Tourism,” highlighting the power of statistics in understanding tourism and guiding inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development in CALABARZON and the Philippines.

The NSM Exhibit featured tourism-related statistics and data products highlighting key indicators and developments in CALABARZON’s tourism sector. Meanwhile, the Information Dissemination Program oriented participants on the PSA’s mandate, programs, and services, particularly the National ID and Vital Statistics. An interactive game for clients availing of National ID and Civil Registration services was also conducted to promote engagement and awareness.

Adding to the experience was the Open House Day, which featured One-Stop Information and Service Booths on Civil Registration, National ID, Legal Advice, Statistical Products, and Careers at PSA, complementing the exhibit by providing a venue for the public to inquire about PSA programs, products, and services.

The Civil Registration and National ID booths catered to inquiries on civil registration services and the National ID, complementing the existing CRS Outlet and National ID Registration Center at the regional office. Individuals requiring actual transactions were directed at the appropriate service points.

As part of the Open House initiative, selected transacting clients from CRS and National ID were given the opportunity to receive the document free of charge, subject to applicable requirements and availability. The initiative aimed to make civil registration documents more accessible and help reduce the cost of securing records needed for education, employment, and other personal, legal, and government transactions.

The Legal Advice Booth provided guidance on civil registration concerns, including correction of clerical errors and related matters. The Statistical Products Booth featured PSA publications and other statistical resources, while the Careers at PSA Booth provided information on career and employment opportunities in the agency.

Information materials and audio-visual presentations further introduced PSA programs, products, and services to the public, making the Open House an opportunity to explore, ask, learn, and connect with PSA.

More than an exhibit, the 37th NSM Exhibit and Open House Day brought statistics closer to the people—showing how data can serve as a beacon for informed decisions, stronger communities, and a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future.
